1) After having installed OBS Studio navigate to the lower left section to find a column titled “Sources”. Underneath the column there will be a “+” button, click on it to open another window.   

2) In this window you will need to select “Video Capture Device”. Once selected, a new window will appear, make sure you have “Create New” selected and then you can name it whatever you would like. For simplicity sake, we suggest naming it “VisionTek Full HD60 UVC”. Click OK once this has been completed. 

3) A new window will appear with a preview of the source you are adding. You will need to select the device in which you would like for the source. Please select “VisionTek Full HD60 UVC” and click “OK” to complete the source creation. The video and audio feed from the capture card should not be recognized in OBS Studio. 

1) After having installed Streamlabs OBS navigate to the lower middle section to find a column titled “Sources”. Near the top of the column there will be a “+” button, click on it to open another window.

2) In this window you will need to select “Video Capture Device”. Once selected, click “add source” and a new window will appear, make sure you click “Add a new source instead” selected and then you can name it whatever you would like. For simplicity sake, we suggest naming it “VisionTek Full HD60 UVC”. Click “Add Source” once this has been completed.

3) A new window will appear with a preview of the source you are adding. You will need to select the device in which you would like for the source. Please select “VisionTek Full HD60 UVC”. Scroll to the bottom of this window and check the box titled “Use custom audio device” (if this is not checked, there will be no video feed). Click “Done” to complete the source creation. The video and audio feed from the capture card should now be recognized in OBS Studio.

1) Open the Microsoft Teams App.

2) Click on the user icon in the upper right corner and select settings from the menu.

3) Select Devices on the left settings menu, under the camera dropdown select VisionTek Full HD60. The source should appear in the preview window.  

4) Click the X in the upper right corner of the Settings Window to save the settings.

1) Open the Zoom App and log in.

2) Click the settings icon in the upper right corner to open the settings window.

3) Select Video from the left side menu.

4) Under the Camera drop down select VisionTek Full HD60.

5) Click the X in the upper right corner of the Settings Window to save the settings.

While it is likely your system has several USB ports, you need to make sure they are USB version 3.0 or newer (3.1, 3.2 gen 1, 3.2 gen 2, etc.). USB 3.0 ports often will have an identifying logo that will say “Super Speed” or “SS”, this means it is USB 3.0. Also, if the USB port has a blue colored tab inside, this means it is USB 3.0. 

Additionally, you can determine if you have a USB 3.x port by navigating to Device Manager.
1) Click the Windows Start button
2) Open Control Panel
3) Select Device Manager
4) Double click Universal Serial Bus Controllers
5) If USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 is included in the list of controllers then your PC has drivers installed for USB 3.x

If the device is receiving power, the red lights on either side will be illuminated. If the red lights are not illuminated, please make sure you have the provided USB cable connected to the unit as well as a USB port on your PC. Additionally, you may need to try a different USB port on your PC. 

Please make sure that your source device is powered on. Also, be sure that you have the source connected via the “HDMI In” port on the capture card as well as the “HDMI Out” port being connected to your display.

While the use of a third-party USB cable may work, we suggest using the provided cable as it has been tested to be completely functional with the unit. 

The extra component attached to the provided USB cable is a USB-A to USB-C adapter. This is provided so that you may plug the device into either a USB-A port or a USB-C port on your PC. It does not need to be used and is only there for compatibility. 

The VisionTek Full HD60 UVC Capture Card will be compatible with the following: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, macOS 10.9 or above, Linux. 

Both HDMI in and out use an HDMI 1.4 port.

Both the passthrough video and captured resolutions are the same. It will support 1080p 60/30 Hz, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p.

YUY2 and MJPEG are the video RAW data formats. 

The VisionTek Full HD60 UVC Capture card has the following ports: HDMI In, HDMI Out, USB 3.0, Microphone Input, Audio Output.

The device that you wish to capture needs to be connected to the HDMI In port on the capture card.

Your display will need to be connected to the HDMI Out port on the capture card. 

Yes! You can connect as many as your system will allow. They will all be recognized as their own independent source. 

You will need to connect the camera to the HDMI In port on the VisionTek Full HD60 UVC Capture Card. Often there will be HDMI output on DSLR cameras that can be used to connect to the capture card with an HDMI cable.
